You and the 34%
How to Have Meaningful Conversations with High-Potential Voters
In 2020, 34% of eligible voters didn’t vote. In this training, you will learn how to make “I don’t vote” the beginning of the conversation, not the end.
Dr. Jacqueline Tulsky and Elizabeth Chur share stories of success, and give you tools drawn from Motivational Interviewing to help you draw out “high-potential voters,” elicit their desires for change, and turn them into voters.
Whether you’re new to canvassing and phone-banking or have been doing it for years, this interactive training is designed for you.

"Talk with Voters" Training for Introverts
(& Friends)
Are you thinking about phone banking or canvassing but don’t quite feel ready?
Phone banking and canvassing are the most effective tools we have for connecting with voters, but many of us would rather get a colonoscopy than talk politics with strangers!
In this interactive, supportive training (led by introverts) we’ll demonstrate that you already have key skills--like the ability to listen thoughtfully and make meaningful one-to-one connections. And we’ll build on those skills by talking about challenges, and sharing some tips that really work. Join us!

Spanish for Activists
Phone Bank Training
Do you speak Spanish and want to protect our freedoms? This two-hour workshop for canvassers and phone bankers will teach you strategies for engaging in meaningful conversations with voters who are most comfortable speaking Spanish.
We’ll include strategies to help you navigate the critical first 30 seconds of a conversation, including phrases that communicate respect and help you earn voters’ trust. This interactive class will be co-taught by a native Spanish-speaking language instructor and an experienced canvasser and phone banker.
